Lambshead Legacy: The Ranch Diary of Watt Mattews. Watt Matthews had his office in the corner of the ranch Cookshack, where he could work while observing the daily acitvities of the ranch going on around him. He was quite strict about keeping a daily diary of those activities as well as the weather and of the outside world. These are his observations from Lambshead, published following his death.
